Clerk’s Elections Division
One Bergen County Plaza, Room 130. The Clerk’s Elections Division handles candidate filings, mail-in ballots, and ballot printing.

Board of Elections
One Bergen County Plaza, Room 310. The Board of Elections staffs polling places and counts paper ballots.
- Recruit, train, and appoint poll workers for Bergen County’s election districts
- Receive, canvass, and count paper ballots, including absentee and provisional ballots
- Certify and inspect polling places for accessibility
- Issue challenger permits and badges
- Redistricting, when required
- Recounts, by court order only

Superintendent of Elections / Commissioner of Registration
One Bergen County Plaza, Room 380. This office maintains voter registration and the voting equipment.
