- Assistance for Voters with Disabilities Voters with disabilities can call the Elections Office to compare in-person machines, mail-in ballots, and assisted options. Ask about curbside or audio help before Election Day so the site you pick is actually set up for you.
- Bilingual Assistance in Spanish/Korean Spanish- and Korean-speaking voters can get ballots and help in those languages, as required once a language community meets the Voting Rights Act threshold. Bilingual hotline numbers are listed on the page; ask for an interpreter if you reach the main elections line instead.
- Know your Rights – NJ Voters’ Bill of Rights (opens external site) Read the state's voters' bill of rights—what you can expect at the polls, when you may use a provisional ballot, and how to challenge a problem. The page lives on nj.gov; bring a local polling-place issue back to the Board of Elections.
- Overseas Citizens and Military Voters (opens external site) U.S. citizens living overseas and military voters should use the Federal Voting Assistance Program site to complete the federal postcard application. The Clerk still mails or emails the Bergen County ballot once that request is on file.
- Poll Worker Application (opens external site) Apply to work the polls through the state's poll-worker page. The Board of Elections hires and trains poll workers; the Clerk does not, so finish the state form rather than emailing Room 130.
- Voter Registration (opens external site) Register to vote or update your name or address on the New Jersey Division of Elections site. You must be a U.S. citizen and meet the state's age and residency rules; the county cannot register you from a Clerk email.
- Voting Locations (opens external site) Look up your assigned Election Day polling place on the New Jersey voter site. Early-voting sites are different and are listed on the Clerk's early-voting page; do not assume your November site is open during the early window.
