Apply for a County Clerk Photo Card

• The Bergen County Clerk’s Office offers a Photo Card Program for Senior Citizens. A Senior Golden Key Card is available to all seniors 62 or older who are residents of Bergen County. The benefits of this card are that you are eligible to receive senior discounts at many businesses located throughout Bergen County by showing the card instead of carrying other important documents. This card should only be used where it is accepted.
• This photo card is not a state or federally approved form of identification and is NOT FOR “REAL ID” PURPOSES.

• The benefits of this card are that you are eligible to receive discounts at many businesses located throughout Bergen County by showing the card instead of carrying other important documents. This card should only be used where it is accepted.
• To obtain a Veteran Service card, Veterans must fill out an application and present a copy of their Separation Papers from Active Duty (DD-214 Form) or the WSAGO 53-55, NAVPERS 553 or NAVMC 790. There is no charge for filing military service records or for the issuance of the card.
• This photo card is not a state or federally approved form of identification and is NOT FOR “REAL ID” PURPOSES.
• Veteran Service Card Application

• The Exempt Firefighter Card is offered as a convenience through the Bergen County Clerk’s Office. Many businesses and organizations in Bergen County are currently offering discounts to Exempt Firefighters, and this card should only be used where it is accepted.
• This photo card is not a state or federally approved form of identification and is NOT FOR “REAL ID” PURPOSES.

• This card is official government identification that the bearer is a Gold Star Parent. In addition, the card provides certain benefits such as free and or discounted admission to New Jersey State Parks, beaches, and museums.

Eligibility:

• To be eligible for the Bergen County Clerk Gold Star Parent Photo Card the applicant must apply in person at the County Clerk's Office and:
• Be the parent, legal guardian or legal custodian of a member of the armed services who lost his or her life on active duty in service to the United States.
• Be a resident of Bergen County.

And present:

• Service member’s Federal DD Form 1300 and/or Report of Casualty, which identifies the member of the armed forces who died while on active duty for the United States and/or a certification from an organization formed for the support of parents of members of the armed forces who lost their lives while on active duty for the United States
