Get a County Clerk Certificate on your notarized document

If you need to have your notary verified on a document that you have notarized, bring or send the original document to the Bergen County Clerk’s Office. We will attach a County Clerk Certification directly to the document, which certifies the notary signature. This is a normal procedure for many documents that need to be sent outside of the United States. There is a $5 fee per certificate payable to the Bergen County Clerk by check, money order, or debit/credit card.
